


One week after we started making apple vinegar (link here), the liquid became darker and started to taste like alcohol! The surface is really bubbly. Definitely something is going on. We strained and moved the bottle to our pantry where it is cool and dark. 3 to 4 more weeks and it is supposed to become vinegar. So exciting. Stay tuned!


Another news is: We have lettuces in pots planted in organic soil mix for sale. They are ready to grow in your kitchen, living room, sun room or greenhouse. You can harvest from outer leaves and they will keep growing.
We hope everyone survived the storm without too much damage… For us, luckily no serious damage to our house or garden. Power was out from Tuesday evening but we had bread already baked and salad mix already harvested so we took them to Wednesday market. Power came back on Friday night. We could not bake bread but we harvested and brought salad mix to Saturday market. We do our best not to miss the markets.
Following is our schedule and availabilities this week:
- Wednesday 10am to 1pm pre-order pick up only at our farm: salad mix, lettuces in pots
- Wednesday 3pm to 4:30pm AGI Hall: salad mix, lettuces in pots, sourdough spelt raisin walnut bread, sourdough spelt sunflower seed bread, sourdough spelt plain bread, rye bread
- Saturday 10am to 1pm AGI Hall: spelt and rye sourdough bread (see our sourdough bread page), koji bread, lettuces in pots
