


Thank you to those of you who requested for information on our miso-making workshop. We are happy to share this healthy and delicious tradition of Japan!
In this workshop, we will:
- Make approx. 1kg of shiro-miso (white miso) each to take home
- Learn about different kinds of miso and taste some of them
- Learn ideas of how to use miso with some samples
- Take home one-page handout of how to make shiro-miso so that you can make it by yourself next time (with support from us via email or messenger if required)
Available dates for December and January are:
- Monday, December 16th, 1pm-3:30pm
- Wednesday, December 18th, 1pm-3:30pm
- Monday, January 6th, 1pm-3:30pm
- Wednesday, January 8th, 1pm-3:30pm
- Monday, January 13th, 1pm-3:30pm
- Wednesday, January 15th, 1pm-3:30pm
- Sunday, January 19th, 1pm-3:30pm
- Wednesday, January 22nd, 1pm-3:30pm
Class size will be small (2-4 people, maximum 5).
Fee is $75/person including all the ingredients and tasting. Please let us know if you have any food restriction or allergy.

Another news is: We have a new product, farmer’s muffin.
We have two flavors, Cardamom dark chocolate and Spiced carrot. These are made with wholegrain spelt and leavened with sourdough starter, not baking powder. We will bring them to market every Saturday.
Following is our schedule and availabilities this week:
- Wednesday 2:30pm to 4pm (please note time slot is changed) AGI Hall: salad mix, lettuces in pots, sourdough spelt walnut raisin bread, sourdough spelt sesame seed bread, sourdough spelt plain bread, rye bread
- Saturday 10am to 1pm AGI Hall: spelt and rye sourdough bread (see our sourdough bread page), farmer’s muffins, koji bread, lettuces in pots
