Sora Farm Newsletter-Vol. 46

We have been growing Shishito peppers for 4 years. We have been happy to see them with lots of green leaves and looking healthy. Only now, we came to know that we were supposed to remove side buds… We knew that for tomatoes and cucumbers, but somehow, it never occurred to us for peppers. Now we know the reason why our peppers took so long to start producing fruits. It’s kind of late for this season but we trimmed them and tied to a support yesterday. Hopefully, we will have peppers soon.

In summer, being a farmer, we have lots of veggies but little time for cooking. Here is one of our very easy quick dinner. This dish of beans can be a fun side dish for meat or grilled tofu, or topping for pasta. Click here for the recipe.
