Miso making workshop

Miso is good for any time of the year but especially nice for autumn and winter. Miso soup, miso hot pot, miso ramen… so warming.

Making miso is amazingly easy and rewarding. Join us to learn this healthy and delicious tradition of Japan!

In this workshop, you will:

  • Make approx. 1kg of shiro-miso (white miso) each to take home
  • Learn about different kinds of miso and taste some of them
  • Learn ideas of how to use miso with some samples
  • Take home one-page handout of how to make shiro-miso so that you can make it by yourself next time (with support from us via email or messenger if required)

Dates and hours:

  • Monday, October 27th, 1pm-3pm
  • Sunday, November 2nd, 1pm-3pm

Class size will be small (2-4 people, maximum 5).

Fee is $75/person including all the ingredients and tasting.  Please let us know if you have any food restriction or allergy. 

If you have participated one of our miso workshops before, you will get discount of $10 and you have a choice of making barley miso instead of rice miso.
