

We have been delivering our salad mix to Ground Up and Bruno’s Kitchen and Catering every Tuesday until last week… now we had to ask them for a break…
For Saturday market last week, it took us almost 4 hours to harvest and make 21 bags of salad mix. During summer it was less than 2 hours for us to make 36 bags.
But we haven’t given up yet. The lettuces we planted in the green house are growing (slowly). We put covers over the ones outside. We even planted some more on Sunday. We will keep providing as long as possible.
From this week our Wednesday farm gate sale is for pre-order only. Please place an order by the end of Tuesday to sorafarmveggie@gmail.com to pick up at 1820 Seymour Rd anytime between 10am and 1pm. We will still be at AGI hall at 3pm to 4:30pm on Wednesday and 10am to 1pm on Saturday. Here is what we have:
- Wednesday: Salad mix, chard, Italian parsley, sourdough spelt sunflower seed bread, sourdough spelt plain bread
- Saturday: Salad mix, chard, Italian parsley, spelt and rye sourdough bread (see our sourdough bread page), koji bread.
