Spring has arrived and we are back on the island!

We enjoyed our trip but we are happy to be back.

We came back last Friday and Kenji has been feeding and reviving his sourdough starter since. He did a trial bake yesterday and it was a success!

We will be at AGI market this coming Saturday with our sourdough spelt and rye bread and some komatsuna that survived the winter. Thank you for the patience during our absence. For those of you who have not experienced our miso making class, there is a good news! Gabriola Arts Council invited me to have a class for Isle of the Arts Festival 2025. It will be on Monday, March 31. Although it is not completely the same as our regular classes (smaller amount of miso to take home, etc), you will still learn and have fun making miso. Please check the website of IoTA for details.
